PT. Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo (member of ATT Group) Proudly Held the Submission Ceremony of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Certification

Being certified, PT. Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo proves to the stake holder (customers, vendors, partners, etc) that is seriously keep moving forward to the higher path to be the icon in logistics industry and apply a management system which is comply an international standardization. It will not stop here, as we will then implement a Balanced Scorecard System. It is a strategic planning and management system that is used to align business activities to the vision and strategy of the organization, improve internal and external communications, and monitor organization performance against strategic goals. It is also a performance measurement framework that help us to set KPI (key performance indicator) of all the processes within organization which previously determined by ISO. What we have been doing now is improving our existing system for the sake of our goals and we integrated our system to achieve our vision to become the logistics icon in Indonesia. That is why ATT Logistics seriously eager to obtain ISO 9001 : 2008, ISO 14001 : 2004 and OHSAS 180001 : 2007 Certification for PT Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo.

It is explained that becoming ISO 9001:2008 certified means to pass all of the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 certification audit and meet the customers requirements, it is the ultimate goal of a QMS (Quality Management Systems) and we are eager to gain a long-term benefits, like if we keep the customer well satisfied, they will want to come back again and again, PT. Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo may obtain a piece of paper that claims ISO 9001 certification without seeing much actual quality or improvement and focus only on one benefit such as an immediate gain not in the long run, but ATT Logistics does not do for such purposes.


PT. Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo was also certified by ISO 14001 : 2004 which related to environmental management systems that exists to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment (i.e. air, water, or land),  comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements. For instance, company concerns to reduce emission, to prevent environmental pollution caused by the production process, such as vehicle operations have always been maintained in order to exhausted gas emission can be controlled. On the other hand, the operational side of our office should also comply with the requirements which are controling the prevention and reduction of environmental pollution due to operational activities. 

The last is OHSAS 18001 : 2007 certificate which is having to do with its concern about Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja - SMK3), especially safety for the staffs during operational process and good health insurance to all employees who work in the front office, back office as well as operational staffs because they tend to have more risks such as drivers need comply with rules that should be completed by the Personal protective equipments(PPE). Therefore, safety first should be according to the types of work. Another example is staff in warehouse must wear safety shoes, the driver must wear safety shoes and safety vests and helmets.

This ISO certification is actually the beginning of the continued improvement process for ATT to implement of a new management system which is called Balanced Scorecard (BSC), The balanced scorecard is a management system (not only a measurement system) that enables organizations to clarify their vision and strategy and translate them into action. It provides feedback both the internal business processes and external outcomes in order to continuously improve strategic performances and results. Thus, after designing process flow for all process within organization, then all the processes are evaluated by ISO which finally certified.

It is believed that good quality process which involves everyone in producing a quality service will drive the company toward the goals, customers satisfaction.
